First Pilot Call

 

The First Pilot Call within the implementation of JHEP Project was launched on the 10th of January 2013. Deadline for submission was on the 5th of April 2013 and the final list of selected projects was defined on July 2013. Funded projects were supposed to start the implementation phase on November 2013. The Pilot Call was addressed to universities, research organizations, enterprises from 14 JPI CH Countries and excellent research projects on cultural heritage involving a minimum of 3 partners from 3 different countries.

Research topics for the proposals were about:

Methods, tools and modelling for understanding damage and decay mechanisms on tangible heritage (including buildings, sites and landscapes)
Materials, technologies and procedures for the conservation of tangible cultural heritage

 

Use and re-use of buildings and landscapes, including the relationship between changes in use and public policy, including costs and added value
Increasing understanding of cultural values, valuation, interpretation, ethics and identity

 

After a national eligibility evaluation process and a detailed common scientific evaluation, 10 Projects were selected for funding. Click on the Project acronym to go into the project detail.
